Family School Liaison Worker
Hello, my name is Ms. Weber, the new Family / School Liaison Worker at Smith School 3 days a week. I will be having regular sessions with students to help them succeed in achieving their goals, working with families and school staff to further support student needs, facilitating specialized small groups of students with similar goals, and providing resources and information to children, youth, families, and/or school staff. I graduated from the University of Alberta in 2020, with an Education (teaching) Degree in Secondary (junior /senior high) Education. If I'm not at Smith School, I am most likely substitute teaching at Edwin Parr or hanging out at home with my fiance Tate, our two dogs Skky (white) and Cooper (brown), and our two duckies. You'll most likely spot me rocking a pair of crocs and messy bun hairstyle. My favourite foods are pasta and chicken wings. My favourite colour is purple. I am so excited for this opportunity and can't wait to work with the staff, students, and families of Smith.
